Elonex 621 eb...HELP!

Hi I got an Elonex 621eb eink reader for Christmas and after using it for a very short time it has completely frozen on start up, I have tried the reset (on the back of the unit) and I have also tried the firmware update to no avail.
My pc still recognises the unit and its files via dgital editions
and Elonex is showing up in the C drive but the reader is totally frozen.
Can anyone help please

All fixed took it back to the shop (Dick Smith's Australia) and as it was under warranty I got a replacement model which works perfectly

you can do a "hard " reset by taking out and putting back the battery.

Same happened to me. Dck Smith's simply replaced it.
