Buy Once, Read Many-A viable solution to the format mess?

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/LibreD....html?x=0&.v=1

I can't tell if this is promising, or just me too-ing. It certainly appears to be trying to simplify things from the publisher's standpoint, and the implication is that it will also handle DRMed content on the same basis.

It's worse then me tooing. It's BS.
Since they have no technical or any explanation of proposed solution, you can only assume from one of a dozen ad looking excerpts:
Quote:
—and prepare it for delivery in any format according to your rights and permissions
That they will recode it the book, to whatever publisher wants or agreed to. Not much difference No difference from what publishers or sellers doing now.
So if I want to read fb2 format, SOL, publisher only agreed to provide eReader
etc.

Some of the smaller, primarily e-publishers like Samhain are doing this too (at least through their own store).
