Strong Poison (1930)

A mystery novel, now in the public domain in life+50 years countries.

Lord Peter Wimsey finds the woman of his dreams, Harriet Vane. Unfortunately, she is on trial for her life, accused of poisoning a former lover. Can he save her life? Is she innocent? If so, who did it?

I couldn’t resist adding a pulp-style cover. The antithetical juxtaposition between the traditional Golden Age detective and the American pulp was agreeably daft.

yep, all of Dorothy Sayers' work is in the public domain in life+50 countries since january of this year. so keep your eyes open for new books appearing. "oh yay" is the habitual reaction.

the US practices the rule of life+70 years (and everything published before 1923, i believe). however Canada, where the MR servers are located, is a life+50 country.

No it isn't. but our servers are in Canada, which is life+ 50 years.
