no typeface size change in Adobe Digital Editions

The epub that I've produced using Sigil 0.5.3 I've fed into Adobe Digital Editions. There are typeface size change buttons in digital editions, but on pressing them nothing happens to the typeface size (it stays the same size).

Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

The problem is that you've used a fixed font size someplace in your ePub. For example...font-size: 12pt in the CSS. So you should find in your CSS where you have font-size and either delete it of change it so it's not a fixed value.

For instance, instead of 12pt and 16pt, use 100% and 133%.

You can use the following formulas to calculate the value of the corresponding relative unit (em and %)

Starting from points/pt (used in Word):
px = pt * 4/3
em = pt / 12
% = pt * 100/12

Starting from Pixels/px:
pt = px * 3/4
em = px / 16
% = px * 100/16

These formulas are generally used for these kind of calculations.
