PRS-T2 Showing collections on T2

I hope I can explain clearly what I am trying to do!
I have a T2, and use Calibre to manage my library. I have a lot of collections (series names), and when I press "collections" I see everything that has a series name without any trouble.

However, if I just want to look at the book list, I get all my books, sorted by Author - pages and pages, with every pictogram or list showing the book title with the author name underneath. What I want to do is be able to see only the Authors, one at a time (in alphabetical order, of course), with a list of their books (sub-menu??), so that I do not have to go through all 91 pages trying to find that one book that does not belong to a series.

So ideally, I would like to see my bookshelves in this fashion:

Bookshelf:
Pg 1 - Author -
Pg 2 - Series name (in order)
Pg 3 - Stand-alone books

I hope I've made myself clear!

Hi,

sub-menus will not work, but you can easily sort the books in your bookshelfs by creating custom columns in calibre and syncing it with the reader.

What you need to do is:

1) Create customer columns in calibre named sort_author (or whatever you like to name it), Type "column build from other columns".
Value could be eg:
{author_sort:|1. Author: |}
The first value behind the brace is the original column. The value between the pipes is added before the original value.
EG a value of "Dickens, Charles" would turn into: "1. Author: Dickens, Charles"

If you want to add anything after the autors name, you can add the text after the second pipe.

2)
Same goes with series or any other column you want to use.
eg:
Custom column sort_series:
{series:|2. Series: |}

Tags would be more difficult if you have more than one tag per book, but still possible.

3)
Connect your reader with calibre. Go to the config section for your device and add your customn columns to the list of Metadata you want to add. (Not sure how the field is named in the english calibre version, it's the second field)
You need to start with a # for any custom column.
If you want series, authors and tags, replace the original values with:
#sort_series, #sort_author, tags
