912 Pro : Bleach colors

Hallo there,
the intensity of the colors (grey, black etc) is so weak, that it is hard to read anything. Is this a hardware error or sth with the software ? (Firmware 2.1.3)

I read in some german forum (cannt find the link anymore), that is happens to be a common problem and leads to a hardware failure.

(does anybody confirm this?)

Exactly the same problem. Thanks for completing the thread.

Id already sent it back. Unfortunately there are almost no such devices on the market anymore.

Onyx is still creating new versions of the 9.7" devices. I believe they have a new model (M96?) due to be released sometime soon.

I agree that it's a shame that there aren't more. My 902 has done me good service over the years. I believe I'll probably get the PocketBook 840 Inkpad when it becomes available. The screen is only 8", but it's front-lit, very high resolution, and has better contrast than the older models.

I had same problem and it was hardware issue (i tried with other software versions before sending it to service in Germany).
Luckily, it was under warranty so I received new screen and even postal expenses return on my account.

It still works OK, but I rarely use it.
