Regenerate Book ID

I am making a SIGIL epub template to reuse the CSS, and layout for future books.

Is there an easier way to regenerate a Book ID for the content.opf file instead of having to go in, delete the number? LIke just changing the Book Name?

Perhaps you can just delete the entire entry from the Template and let Sigil build it again.

I know that I can delete the <dc:identifier>.....</dc:identifier> and have a new one regenerate -- I was just wondering if there was an easier way. Like just changing the name, or a button -- perhaps I should put this in the SIGIL suggestion box.

I don't understand how changing Sigil would be better than just leaving it out of the template in the first place. Why would you want a button change the identifier or take a chance that it might remain the same if you forgot. IMHO leaving it out of the template is the more elegant solution. Of course you could manually edit the opf file I suppose. Maybe Sigil could offer a template save option that would extract a template from the epub that is loaded. Basically use the CSS and dummy xhtml page and a dummy opf.
