More competition is never a bad thing but one wonders given Samsung's partnering with Apple if there is not some sort of non-competition agreement in there somewhere which keeps prices higher than a normal Samsung device might be. Right now a person can buy a Samsung 32"-42" flat screen for less than a Galaxy Tab. Think about that for a minute.
I agree, that screen ratio just doesn't work well for vertical presentation. That's one thing I did not care about in my Sony 900...
