The 2.12 update keeps my iLiad from locking up when the MMC plastic slug is removed / inserted into the iLiad.

This is a very useful upgrade if for only that one fix. Thanks iRex!

Is it possible to go back to 2.11? I am not saying that 2.12 is worse than 2.11. I just want to retain the opportunity.

No, it's not. Not unless you have a copy of the firmware files from 2.11...

you have to request the developer access again and hen reinstall your custom pdf viewer.

And if you use one of the previously created install scripts you'll probably need to update the reference to firmware from 2.11 to 2.12 (it's just a simple text file).

I have a problem. After I upgraded to 2.12, I requested the developer access. I think the installation went alright as I successfully downloaded the developer access package, and Iliad rebooted automatically.

Then, I tried to install "ipdf full screen patch" which I have been using without any problem with 2.11. However, I could not install this. When I clicked on the patch, it turned into a folder icon, and didn't install.

Did anybody experience this problem? Am I missing something? The full screen ipdf is very important for me, and I would appreciate if you could help me on this. Thanks.

Here's some installers with the firmware file updated to 2.12. Note that this will wipe out the irex version and not back it up. Once it is gone it is gone. I did this without first backing up my irex version so I couldn't include it in this. You might want to backup your original ipdf first. That said I have not had any problems (and am not even sure if ipdf has changed in version 2.12).

To use these installers unzip the attached file to somewhere (internal memory, usb, CF) and you will see four different modified versions of ipdf. Click on the one you want to install. It will update the manifest so the entry in the contentlister will show the time and date you installed it. To do this I have just zipped up my versions so I know they work. This means that they will all say that they have been installed. This is when I installed them (yesterday), so you will need to click on the one you want to install it.

I'm very happy to see that the new 2.12 fixed the bug that prevented german mobypocket dictionary working on my Iliad, now It opens and the look up function is working as well when Iam reading a book in german, this function was one the main reason I bought a e book reader, and I was very disappointed when I saw not working, now I m very happy endeed, thanks Irex

The bug of CF/MMC card activity interfering with WiFi remains unfixed.

Needless to say, I'm very disappointed.

I found 4 versions of iPDF in the installer. Is it possible to return to the iRex's PDF reader?
