is it safe to....

delete all the books off the kindle and resubmit them again via Calibre? I would like to ensure that all books are in series order, and some of the author and title tags have got ugly on the kindle but are all neat and tidy on Calibre.

IF the books on Calibre are all "liberated" yes, you can delete them.

I've done it before and reloaded....but again, they must be drm free......

Ah, so if they are DRM then they wont reload from Calibre? Is there a quick way to tell which are DRM'ed - I know I have a couple.

If they are in Calibre now you can transfer them to the Kindle just fine. As a precaution you can backup your kindle to your local pc prior to deleting them.

The only time that DRM will bother you in any way is if the ebook you are sending to your Kindle was meant for another Kindle. As long as the ebooks were meant for your Kindle everything will work out great

I have actually done what you are thinking about doing and the only problem that I ran into is that I forgot to send a couple books. That was all
