New version 2.4.1 of Microsoft Reader released

Microsoft have released a new version (v2.4.1) of Microsoft Reader, and it is available for download now.

From the download page:

November 23, 2005 - Attention Pocket PC and Pocket PC Phone Edition Customers: Please note that we have recently posted an update of the Pocket PC/Pocket PC Phone Edition version of Microsoft Reader. This update addresses activation problems experienced by the users of some Phone Edition devices. In addition we have made it easier to use Microsoft Reader with device storage cards. Thank you for your continued support.

The main new features include:
- Pan and zoom capabilities for embedded graphics
- Screen rotation capability between portrait and landscape modes for more natural, comfortable reading (Windows Mobile 2003 and above)

With pride I have to admit that I've never installed Microsoft Reader. If there's a way to avoid DRM infestation I go for it.

I've installed it, but never for long (ubook and convertlit suit my tastes much more ). I'm sure there are many people that are quite happy with it, though.
