Exclamation Help! I've accidentaly deleted the folder structure on my White Opus

Hi all,

As the title say... I have tried to install the firmware 2.0, which I did with success... but without the folder structure and respective files on the internal memory of the opus, it just doesn't work.
Could you please help me?

Thanks in advance,
Ricardo

I don't have an opus, but the installing of firmware should not, by itself, have removed folders.

By folders do you mean system etc ? or your reading material.

Do you not have backup copies of your system files ?

Hi Geoff,

I meant system, yes. Unfortunately, no, I didn't had any copies from my system folders... I am very careful with backing up my laptops, but I totally neglected the Opus.

Meanwhile, I used Ubuntu to format the internal memory to FAT32, and after that I just connected the device to Ubuntu (10.4, btw), which did create the folder structure by itself!

After 10 hours of struggle, my Opus is back again. I just wish I had tried this sooner.
Thanks for taking the time to reply!
If someone needs some help regarding this, please PM me, ok?

Best,

Ricardo
