Still can not find any information on it being sold anywhere though. guess its the waiting game.

the reader goes official now

according to the italian website it is supposed to be available in EU starting this December

the price kills the show imho though... not sure how much competitive DR900 will be with THAT pricing level... I love the 9" display size but i can hardly justify paying almost $400 for the ereading device myself...

319 euros means it will be priced at 319 dollars as well. Thats about right in the 9-10 inch epaper market.

from earlier statements it was supposed to be more like $389... i wish you were right with that USD pricing...

in Europe it compares very favourably with PB 902/3.

An update I found on the italian site Simplicissimus (http://forum.simplicissimus.it/gli-e...-e-dr-950/105/)

The Italian based consumer electronics chain Mediaworld just published a commercial brochure in which they list gift ideas for Christmas. The Asus DR 900 is included but without price reference. You can see it on the second page on the right.

Not yet available on the site, but it seems a price has been confirmed.

The user says that he has the brochure with the price and that the DR900 should be available as from 11.12.2010.
