Cappuccino in my cup. Back at the office, just two more days until the weekend!
Too bad the fabulous weather won't last. Monday we'll be below 0 again I just hope it's the last cold wave this year. If the weather doesn't get better soon, I might get depressed. |

Black coffee produced via Cafetiere (French Press). Added stirred non-boiling water to the grounds, left uncovered to steep for 1 minute, then stirred. Left to steep for another 3 minutes, removed to scum then pressed using the plunger. Poured my cup, then put the rest in a thermos mug so that the unused portion doesn't get bitter.
That should keep Stitchawl happy... (though maybe not enough detail on the type of grounds - Aribica Beans, decaffeinated and roasted - or their consistency - coarse ground - or the cup - thin bone china, white). |

Thank god it's the last day of the week. I'm exhausted. Class until 22:30 yesterday (normally it's until 21:50) followed by a 45 minute drive. And then my alarm went of this morning at 5:50 ... I desperately need the cappuccino in my cup ...

Cafe Domingo for the drive, Blue Spring Oolong at work. Lucas slept through the night. It was just one night but we can hope right? The little guy is just exhausted after day care. All of that crawling, pulling himself up, learning to balance, and smiling takes a lot out of him. I do love my little guy.

Come
And talk of all the things we did today Here And laugh about our funny little ways While we have a few minutes to breathe Then I know that it's time you must leave But darling be home soon I couldn't bear to wait an extra minute if you dawdled My darling be home soon It's not just these few hours but I've been waiting since I toddled For the great relief of having you to talk to ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcI3ROS-yT8 ) Those were some wonderful times... Good morning, everyone! Today, in 1776, Adam Smith published his book, 'Wealth of Nations,' one of the most widely read economics books of the times. It's my belief that the boredom of this led to the start of the American Revolution that same year. Last night I decided to cannibalize the 'Twin' and make some green tea for today's breakfast. She is more than large enough now to handle the loss of a few leaves, so I plucked, chopped, and dried a few in a hot-air oven, and now have a big mug of her sitting beside me. Absolutely VILE brew... but she's 'family' so I'll have to pretend I love it. Then I'll make something good... What a way to start a day. Stitchawl |

Ack! Ran out of the store-bought tea bags -- but I had a few Chinese restaurant take-out tea bags, so I was okay. Still plenty of good loose Rose China tea for the later rounds.

After dinner... sitting back with a cup of East India Company's "Assam" tea, and some Pepperidge Farms 'Milano' cookies. Diet be damned.
