Jim, I just read your personal gadget history. Fascinating! (I can't imagine reading a book on a cellphone -- not even an iPhone. Maybe I just lack imagination.) Hard to believe, but I bought my first cell phone in '93. They were analog devices back then!

Where in Brooklyn? I've lived in Bensonhurst and Bay Ridge years back, and have some familiarity with other parts of the borough.

BTW: reading on a cellphone isn't all that unusual. My normal reader is a Palm OS PDA. It's nice to carry a library in your pocket.
