Greetings from Denmark

Hi all,

Nice active forums

I've been looking around as I'm trying to decide wiether to buy a european reader (which are availabale!) or wait for Sony and Amazon to launch their products in Europe. These readers seem to me, after reading the troubleshooting forums etc., to be more mature products and more important their integrated shops offer more content.

Anybody else who have, or had, similar considerations?

BR,
John

Hi John:

Welcome to MobileRead.

I own a Sony PRS-505 and really love it. However, I currently live in Peru, so I decided not to go with the Kindle as I would not be able to enjoy the 'computerless' benefits of that device. My understanding is that people who have the Kindle really like the unit and are quite pleased with it.

I don't think you're going to go wrong with these three major players (in no especial order): Kindle, Sony PRS-505, or the Cybook Gen3.

These are matur(ing) devices and they have a loyal following. My Reader is fun to use and I love it. I know that Harry loves his Gen3 unit and also gets much pleasure from it. The same with Kindle users.

Please visit MobileRead frequently, because there always new posts expressing new thoughts, considerations, and opinions.

Again, welcome to MobileRead.

Don
