Old time gamers: Atari's Greatest Hits for iOS

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/atari...422966028?mt=8

Quote:
Atari’s Greatest Hits brings the best of retro gaming to iOS with 100 Classic Atari Games. This suite brings you the hottest Arcade and 2600 titles from Atari. For those who love the classic gaming experience this handheld breakthrough is sure to guarantee hours of fun.
App is free, and comes with Pong. Games are sold in packs for .99, or get all 100 games for 15 bucks. I'm getting it just to play Star Raiders again

Eh, I've tried playing these sorts of games on my iPad. Found the virtual joystick to be a lousy input method.

I remember when the old Atari games were state of the art. Now they call them 'Retro' games. lol.

These work really well too

http://http://www.tenonedesign.com/fling

Smaller and less obtrusive than the one on thinkgeek

But it you are really after that 'Retro' look and feel, then this might be worth considering

http://www.thinkgeek.com/electronics/retro-gaming/e762/

Still in development, but made for the above mentioned Atari games
