Keats, John: Hyperion (RTF). v2. 22 Jun 2008

Here is the surviving fragment of Keat's unfinished epic, Hyperion.
It is nicely formated for Sony Reader - but may work OK on others.

This looks quite nice; though several of the inverted commas and quotation marks are facing in the wrong direction.

ARGHH - that's what I get for letting MS-Word apply "smart quotes" automatically. I will go through by hand and check them all. Thanks so much for your proofreading.

I'm afraid that one always needs to check smart quotes. Mostly they are ok. But there is no algorithm that will always get the direction right when they occur immediately after a dash. Nor for space followed by an inverted commma ('tis, ''cos, 'em).
So I always to a manual check.
This can take very little time with some books. But 'the Ragged Trousered Philanthropists' took hours because of all the colloquialisms.
