Hi wcdmaiscome and welcome to MobileRead.

What kinds of books do you enjoy reading on your Kindle?

Hello wcdmaiscome -- and welcome to MobileRead. I also own a Kindle -- it's the 1st generation. I really *really* like it and have spent entirely too much money on eBooks. I had thought that I'd stop buying paper books, but there are some books not yet available in eBook format and I'm in a book swapping group and need to purchase the occasional book for that. I do, however, tend to frequent the used book stores more these days.

You didn't say what kind of books you like, but there are several thousand classic, copyright-free, or creative commons licensed books available right here at MobileRead. I tend to rely on the MobileRead Mobipocket Download Guide as an catalog of the available books. You can install it on your Kindle and then download any book from MobileRead directly to the Kindle using its Whispernet connection.
