Buying mobipocket books from franklin.com

Has anyone bought ebooks in Mobipocket format from franklin.com?

I would be interested in some they have there (cheaper than at other sites), but can't find anywhere to input the PID of my device before buying the books. Can it be done after buying?

There are a number of sites which are like that. You have to authorise the book with Windows Mobi Reader after purchase. Libresco in the UK works the same way.

You do with Libresco - there have been a number of moans about it. Perhaps you could drop the site owners an e-mail and ask them?

I did. Two weeks ago I got this reply:

Thank you for your inquiry. You may have 4 active units for downloads. The Pids are entered when you register your unit. You may redownload the titles as needed. For further questions about the mobipocket reader, please visit www.mobipocketreader.com.
But I can't find a way to "register my unit" either. The registration seems to be thought only for units you buy at franklin.com (there's a dropdown list of model numbers, none of which refers to the Cybook Gen3). An I see no way to enter the PID there anyway. Maybe they meant "register your unit with the mobipocket desktop reader".

Further enquiries remain unanswered :/

Did they really provide you with a link to www.mobipocketreader.com? It doesn't lead anywhere.
