Kindle books (Windows 8)

Hi all,

I am trying to convert some Amazon books for my Kobo. I'm running Windows 8 but cannot find where the Amazon files are kept. Any ideas??

Thanks

Convert them in Calibre Dont forget to remove DRM... Put them in ePub Formate then transfer them to the Kobo. They will be with the rest of your ebooks or under DOCS

In Windows 7 they are in "My Kindle Content" under My Documents. I don't know where they would be in Windows 8.

Tap on Kindle in the home screen! DL them to your Computer then look under Documents/Kindle

Make sure you're using Kindle for PC and not the Win 8 app. From what I understand the Win 8 app stores the books internally and you can't get to them.
