eBooks currently on my 8meg card...

eBooks currently residing on my Visor's 8meg expansion card are
as follows:

A Princess of Mars (Edgar Rice Burroughs)
Enterprise Stardust (book #1 of the first Perry Rhodan cycle)
Moving Pictures (#10 of Terry Pratchet's Discworld)
Death Check (#2 of the Destroyer series)
Simulations, by Baudrillard

and David Brin's "Kiln People," which is turning out to be an
odd sci-fi about the possibility of syncing (to borrow a PDA term)
your memories with a duplicate (with only a 24hr duration), and
then sending that duplicate to do onerous/dangerous tasks, or
other activites, then return to you prior to its expiration, and
sync its memories with you -- it "dies," you keep its memories.

Odd idea, and Brin locates this odd idea within a detective story
(of sorts) and a society already complicated by duplicates.

I'm 30% of the way into this book, and I suppose I'd suggest it
-- not entirely sure at this point, though.

No idea. Probably. I'd found it on a website somewhere with a few other PalmDoc eBooks.
