Footnotes from Word to html to epub
I have a book created in Word 2000 with extensive footnotes. In html, the footnotes work fine. However, when the html is opened in Sigil, I get an error for each. Here is a sample footnote:
<a href="../Text/Section0013.HTM#_ftn4" name="_ftnref4" title="">[4]</a> Flight Crew objects that "attribute 'name' is not declared for element 'a'" If I change name to id in the case of footnote [1], Flight Crew raises no objection. Should I do this through all 169 footnotes? Thank you! |
