Calibre not removing headers in mobi conversion

Trying to convert a pdf to mobi that has headers on every page.
Have ticked the "remove headers" option but the headers are still showing up after conversion.

Any ideas?

There's no easy way to do this, you basically have to adjust the header regular expression to match your particular headers.

The easiest way I have found to do this is to crop the margins of the PDF to remove headers / footers with PDF tools which is free from
