Meet-Up! Atlanta, maybe?

I don't live in a big city, but I travel to and through them frequently. I'll be in Atlanta September 28 through October 4th. Peachtree City, actually, but, have GPS, will drive. This is a business trip and I'll be working during the days, so I'm talking about a late night, dinner and drinks affair on a weeknight.

I know there are people in Georgia, even the Atlanta area who are members here. I think they're all just away from their computers for the holiday weekend.

Dreamer, if you wear that outfit I may have to drive over from Huntsville. Naw too far & too old.

Know that the owner drives from Charleston to Atlanta nearly every weekend. However, my co-worker & I surmise it is because he collects giant bags of cash to throw in the back of his Jaguar and bring back to Chuck-town.
No Offense, but I doubt that you're cute or charming enough to justify driving six hours.
If you do make it into Atlanta, there's a great neo-French restaurant in Buckhead on Peachtree, Tolouse.
Had you said Savannah, I would have bought you a beer. In person even!

I've been snooping around the forum, looking for fellow citizens of Georgia who might be enticed to join the meet-up. So far I've received one response (Thanks Lilly, wish you could join us).

Where is everyone? I'm starting to feel a little lonely and worried about a disturbing trend I noticed. I've stumbled across about a dozen people who self-disclosed that they lived in Atlanta. Of those, the majority posted a couple of messages and haven't been seen again. Is Atlanta a black hole that swallows ebook readers? If I go there, will I ever log into MR again?
