Downloading apps

Every time I try to download an app for my Kobo from Android Market it says "There are no Android phones associated with this account. Please sign in with a different account".
Does anyone knows why is this happening and how can I get around it? I'm just trying to get Opera and Aldiko.

The vox does not have market access unless you do this:

However, both of the apps you mention can be got straight from the developers' sites without using market so why not just do that?

As mr_nobody mentioned Vox doesn't have access to the Android Market but luckily both apps you mentioned are available elsewhere.

Aldiko Be sure to use the email link on your right and in the message after you press Grab It (you don't need to use a real email as it always shows an error message) press the HERE word for direct download of the app.

For Opera use the direct URL of http://m.opera.com/ for quick easy install direct from your Vox.
