heh. it made me crazy hunting for that the first year i joined. go to your bookshelf, and to the left scrolling down you see "member and site discounts". the free book is listed under "coupon discounts" ; it's a reduction code.

I just went for it after debating it a few days. I've got a Sony and like someone already mentioned, they're moving away from the highly manipulable LIT files it seems. It also kind of bothered me that I already buy the B&N store memberships for $25 every year, and buying yet another membership at another B&N store kind of rubbed me the wrong way. But, after considering the 100% micropay and $10 coupon, it seemed like I might as well because I can get at least that much out of it and end up wanting more.

I went through the wishlist like Snowman, deleted about 20 titles that were US only, mostly.

Besides the directions zelda gives, it's also in the email they send confirming your order.

I was kinda undecided about going ahead and taking advantage of this offer, but finally did late last night. Over the course of the year I'll find something to spend the Micropay on.

That's kinda what I figured. I don't buy there like I used to, but I doubt I'll have any problem spending the rebate or using up the coupon.

The banner is gone (which made me think that the sale was over) but I added a buywise subscription to my cart and the micropay rebate was still there so if you are on the fence for this one you need to decide now probably.

i found the code in my email this year, but i am almost positive it wasn't there in my mail last year (it's why i had to search so much), so maybe you are not going crazy... (or maybe we both are. )

I'd join if they did more epub books, but I find most of the ones I want are in ereader or Mobi which is more difficult to format shift than epub.

Great Deal
I have thought about joining for a long time but put it off. I have been eye balling the purchase of the complete Harlan Ellison. With the 100% rebate I joined for 5 years and used the whole rebate on buying up Ellison books. A win win for me.
