Please help - Calibre problem

Hi guys - first let me start by saying I'm technically challenged so sorry if this sounds stupid.

I'm having problems launching Calibre after downloading it after it was recommended on the Amazon kindle site. I get the message "Bad Database Location" and then it shuts down. Can someone tell me what location it should be in? I tried to uninstall it and download it again but I still had the same problem. Now I've unistalled it for the second time. Should I give it another shot? Thanks.

you sould give it as meny shots as it takes

Calibre is a truly remarkable program. (and have nothing to gain from you using it).
i am no expert, but here is what i would do:
1) uninstall calibre
2) delete the c:\profram files\calibre2 folder.
3) post a little more information (operating system, what vertion you downloaded ect.)
4) wait for the good folks around here (with more knowledge than me) to give you a better answer.
