I don't think that is a real Godzilla. But I do think it's a guy dressed in a real Godzilla skin. They are hard to get these days, so this will probably be a big budget flic...

+1. I'm with you there. Godzilla is a Japanese tradition. He should be smashing Tokyo, not New York. That's Kind Kong's job.

No definitely not. The position relative to the water would be all wrong. It's not clear, but I think that maybe the Statue of Liberty (at 0:56). And the city topography is all wrong for SF.

From all accounts it is indeed San Francisco that is being destroyed. On set photos show San Francisco buses and police cars.

And New York has nothing like the TA building that I'm aware of.

Actually I think it is correct. I just found an almost exact same point of view from the start.
