Reset furthest page read
Anyone noticed you can now clear the furthest page read via the amazon website for any book you please? Not sure when that was added but
I wish they'd change it though or at least add the option to sync to last page read rather than furthest. Even if doing that wasn't automatic but needed a button pressing which would overwrite furthest read, or doing it only when you exit the app/lock the phone (assuming they want to avoid updates occurring too frequently.) since not all books are read sequentailly. Anyhow, now others on your account can read a book after you and still use device syncing obviously still can't both read at the same time unless one of you disables sync on their device (or the account) |

Yeah, I saw that a while ago. It was a very welcome feature indeed.

I'll take credit for it, I complained almost daily and had them resetting my books continuously.

Yep, there was a thread about this a few months ago. A very welcome feature.

The whole concept of "furthest page read" doesn't work for any book that has endnotes.

Don't use endnotes.

I have never jumped to endnotes in any book I've read and I read 2 history or biography eBooks per month. |

Doesn't work for me; I'm a compulsive endnote-reader.

Well as I understand this gives a chance to start over with the book. But as said in another thread I would appreciate the feature "sync to current page read". I read all my technology books now on Kindle and it happens often that I jump around in the book. I would appreciate, if I could continue reading the current page read on all devices. To clear furthest page read doesn't help here I think
