Bug? Keyboard not displaying properly

IPad Mini 2, IOS 8.1, Marvin 2.8

Portrait mode, with Apple button at the bottom and camera at the top. Marvin Library, Long press on book, select any field for editing (e.g., Book title). The keyboard pops up but is chopped off on the right, so some keys are not visible. Rotate 90 degrees clock wise (landscape) and the keyboard disappears off the bottom of the screen. Rotate another 90 degrees clock wise (portrait) and the keyboard is chopped off on the left. Rotate another 90 degrees clock wise (landscape) and the complete, smaller keyboard appears in the bottom left of the screen.

The same thing happens for other editable text fields e.g., when adding a new collection.

After shutting down and restarting Marvin the problem has fixed itself. So a difficult one to fix!

That's pretty much a defect in iOS 8 not Marvin. 8.1 made it much better but it doesn't seem to be entirely fixed.

(iOS is responsible for showing and displaying the keyboard, not the app itself - apps just 'request' that the keyboard is shown).

Hi!

There's NO change with IOS8.1. Keyboard still copped or missing in landscape. Setting own readingtime is impossible. Selecting different or new book in marvin library crashes marvin. Second try works. Performance still slow.

BUT: MARVIN IS THE READER! Thank you! And if IOSRA works again world will be back with sun!!!

@Tozzi - Re the performance problem, are you sure you're running 2.8?

@kguil - It's 2.8 on my ipad. Anyway, I always read in landscape and work a lot with comments and annotations. I didn't change the keyboard in ipad-setup yet. Probably there is a better layout... and I've to wait until the IOSRA-Plugin works again to transfer books with annotations back to calibre.

Update to Marvin 2.8.1 with IOS8.1 brings back the keyboard on my iPad!!!
Performance is better AND marvin initial screen can be landscape!!!
