KF8 Kindle Fire file size error and isolated elements.

Hi everyone!

Can I ask a question about the KF8 Kindle Fire/Kindle Touch error where fonts show up really small.

I have a few decorative elements in my book that have a "font-size: 20pt" tag attached to them. For example:

<span style="font-size: 20pt"> ~ <img src="finial.jpg"> ~ </span>

Is there any conceivable way that a lone span style only used for non-essential text could affect my body text? My body text and headers have no specified font size. I'm just concerned that a Kindle Fire or Kindle Touch might read the "font-size: 20pt" and just decide to render the whole body text with that too.

Any help would be great (:!
