I don't notice a difference either way, but for huge tomes I probably read faster because I don't get tired of holding a thick book.

Definetly faster with an ebook. My reader is comfortable to hold and more convenient to take with me everywhere, making my reading experience more enjoyable. I also don't get papercuts anymore
