I got 114 of these warnings, not to be corrected automatically.

WARNING: Link points to a location not present in the target file

It's all about the #number expressions that are to be removed. So I ask you for a regex to do the job, please!

But even for a few words what it is all about. Are there other ways to resolve the warnings?

That looks like a TOC page.
Does it just replicate (same stuff, in plain text) the NCX entries?

If it is a separate file it may be easy... Replace it.
Not Separate, first split it off using the 'split here' feature in preview
Then delete that part.

Now regenerate:

Tools: Table of contents: Insert Inline Table of Contents

Move your new TOC file (up<>down) to where you want it in the file list

If the inline TOC has visual style: S&R (your original question)

Do you mean this? Where should or could be found that plain text!?

That says the NCX is also wrong if the anchor (#stuff) is missing from the target.

Regenerate or use the TOC tool to point to the new location (tedious method because all files may be involve)
