Request Eink strangely turn white (and indistinct)

The eInk of my Pocket Edge suddenly turned white and obscure today. I re-installed Golden Allmine three days before, using the Allmine-Universal-0.5. Could anyone kindly help me? Does it relate to the allmine update? I have been using my dear Pocket Edge for 2 years and a half, and really wish to keep it at hand.

Can it display a book? Might also try the screen calibration.

Thanks for the advice. Screen calibration does not work, and it cannot clearly display any text. The main reason is that the background becomes so dark that there is very low degree of contrast between the background and the words.

Have you turned your PE all the way off since it went ghosty? Sometimes that clears up problems. Or you could try the cold treatment. Then, in case it was the upgrade, you might try downgrading.

It could be something mechanical (a cable?), in which case you'll have to search the forums for possible solutions, or buy a "new" one and transfer your stuff.

I certainly hope you don't lose your eDGe!
