USB debugging is just disabled by default upon boot. Should it stay enabled in a sane Android system?

Onyx has screwed up the USB 12 ways from tomorrow.
In normal Android you'd just setprop persist.sys.usb.config adb.
Onyx is using both sysfs and configfs and I have no idea why.
You can change [persist.]sys.usb.config but it makes no difference.
Disconnect, then reconnect the USB and the connection is totally dead.

I found out that Kon-Tiki 2 supports only (!) two simultaneous touch points.

Can anyone please confirm this on Nova/Note/Poke? I used Multi Touch Tester app, but I think it does matter what to use.

Try UsbMode.apk (in sig).
It displays coordinates when there are 1 or 2 touches and just the number of touches after that (although the full coordinates are available, it's just too much clutter to display).

Yes, UsbMode.apk also confirms that I can have only two maximum touch inputs.

On your screenshot, you have 5 points! Is that on your Poke3?

Yes, that's the Poke3 with 5 points
I can get 10 points on my cheapy cell phone.
I'm not sure what the use case for more than two points is.

I only found this out when I tried to assign an action to "Tap with three fingers" gesture in AlReaderX. Not a big deal, but rather a mild surprise.

Is there a way to modify elements in the notification bar?
After disabling com.onyx the shortcut for Home button in the notification bar works improperly. If I press it, it is highlighted, then it brings to home, but it doesn’t redraw. So I need to blindly tap an app.

As soon as I tap the notification bar, there are logs that complain something about “receiver not found” (I suppose it looks for com.onyx).

Besides, this strip with shortcuts (Back, Home, Tasks, Refresh) takes up some space, so I’d like to remove it altogether.

With com.onyx enabled it properly brings to current launcher.

Do you mean the top status bar or the bottom navigation bar (with little triangle, square, circle)?
The Poke 3 doesn't have a bottom navigation, there are just the 3 swipes.
A middle swipe goes to my home (the custom Launcher) correctly.

Is the Kon-Tiki 2 Android 10?
I don't really care about the Android version, it's whether it's running the main line homogenous Onyx software.

Yes, Kon-Tiki 2 on Android 10. I also don't have buttons on the bottom, and I also have gestures.

Maybe that's because I use SimpleInk Launcher? The gesture and double-press action (via Button Mapper) works though.
