Must have been a rough day if you're only getting to tea in the middle of the afternoon. My sympathy, cromag.
I've switched to Diet Coke for the rest of the day. With maybe a tea break this afternoon if I get enough done to earn it. |

Nope, that's when I usually start. I'm a late riser to begin with, and the tea waits until I have time.
In fact, mug #3 is waiting for me right now! |

Third mug of tea here, too, cromag. In my case, a mug of Phoenix Mountain Oolong. Been a while since I've had an Oolong. I'd forgotten how much I enjoy one of an afternoon. A nice break. But now, back to the grind.

April come she will
When streams are ripe and swelled with rain; May, she will stay, Resting in my arms again ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSQ8lSRE0PM ) Good morning, everyone! End of the first week of April, and the rains have finally come. Thank you, Mother Nature! The air is breathable once again, the rains washing away all the smoke from the farmer's burning fields. Particulate Matter index today was 43. Last week it was 287... Big mug of East India Company's "Assam" today, and a bowl of something from the Food Lady! All is good! And the end of the first week means that it's time to start stocking up the house with food and supplies so we don't have to venture out (except to play) from the 11th through the 16th, when ALL of Thailand turns into a massive water fight for the Songkran (Thai New Years) holiday. Everything from little squirt guns, big water blasters, and even entire buckets of water get thrown at you by thousands of happy revelers! People line the streets, shoulder to shoulder, throwing water at each other and anyone passing by. Try and keep in mind that this is a religious festival, and that getting 'sprinkled' with water on your shoulder is good luck... That was 'then.' This is now... I can be seen at around the 3 minute mark... ... and this goes on for 4-5 days... Happy New Year! Stitchawl Last edited by Stitchawl; 04-08-2014 at 12:07 AM. |

......
And so it was that later As the miller told his tale That her face, at first just ghostly, Turned a whiter shade of pale :whistel: ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPgTjUloUEI ) What a song to wake up to! Wow! Good morning, everyone! Sunny skies right now, but that should change by 4pm... Every day for the next few months! I'm drinking one of my new English Breakfast teas, this one by Heladiv. Tasty way to start the day. Then it's downstairs to visit the Food Lady, eat some strange stuff, and begin my day. I'm off in search of Plaster of Paris, Modeling Clay, and lead fishing weights. I want to change the balance point on my fencing weapons so need to create shaped weights for the grips. Tungsten would be better but I don't have a machine shop... or tungsten. A fun project for a few days! Stitchawl |
