Looking for a web site
There is a web site that if you enter the web address of a non-mobile web site on this web address it will make the web page suitable for mobile devices, primarily by stripping graphics from the web site and formatting it for mobile devices. I do not have the web address for this web page any longer however I need it. does anyone know of this web site?

There are text-only browsers out there -- would one of them help?

The technical name of what I think the OP needs is a 'transcoder'. A Google search of terms like "mobile transcoder" shows a lot of results and recommendations.
