adjust color temperature, brightness?

Hey guys,

I am wondering if anybody have developed an app or hack that does what F.lux does on desktops. What F.lux does is automatically adjust the color temperature and brightness of the screen according to the time of day. This softens the light in the evening (a yellower tint), making the display less straining on the eyes and less stimulating on the nervous system (easier to fall asleep).

Is it possible to adjust the color temperature of the iphone/ipad screen? Maybe if jailbroken?
