Another possibility for converting audible books is to use Sound Taxi (do a google search for it.) It's software that allows you to convert DRM'ed audio files to other formats. It's not free, but if I remember correctly it's fairly reasonably priced.

Text to Speech programs get better every year, im sure in 10 years most people wouldnt even be able to tell the difference. Im sure they are Programming Cadence into the Generators, and other things.. just like microsoft word whos spell check, is actually not to bad at grammar too, and that gets better ever revision too. |

The advantage of stream-ripping is that it will capture ANYTHING
from any source (even demos) so you can bypass extra steps. I think the simplest solution is to just convert the file and forget ripping altogether. .aa to .mp3 and your done. still want to burn CDs (and your money?) Last edited by Server; 01-05-2009 at 09:28 PM. |

I don't see .aa files listed as a supported file type. I also didn't see a Mac version. BOb |

here is a guide using a virtual CD burner which would be faster than stream ripping and not waste CDs.
http://saintmonkey.com/?p=22 here seems to be a program that can directly rip AA to MP3 for Macs http://www.macsome.com/audio-book-co...ip-to-mp3.html |
