Nothing new to those of us using it, I think. But good to get real life use info out there. Personally, I pretty much agree with him - except about that bit about using the browser. I hate using the browser for anything. |

One thing that was not mentioned however is battery life. I'd be really interested in how much battery was used up with all the wifi access.

That's already been answered. We have a member here who leaves the wifi on all the time. He charges his Kindle about 20 minutes a night.

Yeah, but active wifi is different than passive wifi. The device seems to pretty much not do anything unless you tell it to with wifi on. I've left mine on for a few days and been surprised to find the battery still fine.
But the only thing I download is the newspaper, etc. |
