IF I decide to go with K3... can I move all the books I have purchased from Sony over to the K3??? Is there a software solution that would allow me to do that?

Oh yes. You need to remove the DRM and then convert the EPUB ebooks to MOBI using Calibre.

Possibly

If you have purchased books with drm (Sony uses Adobe DRM), then Calibre can only convert those books once you have stripped the drm using other solutions available on the net (search google for apprenticealf as your starting point). If drm stripping is not for you, then stick with a reader that handles Adobe drm (ADE). |

In other words, if you cannot or do not want to strip DRM, get a Sony.

Now, let's say you want a reader from Pocketbook and not a Sony or a K3. Which reader will have been the better choice. Why the Sony since all your eBook will be compatible without the need to convert to ePub. Sure you may have converted some already to ePub, but all the eBooks you have will be ePub and ready to go on a different reader. Now, if you didn't know about DRM and stripping/converting, you be well and truly locked in with a K3. |

It would be easier to decide if I wasn't such a sucker for Sony design/style...
Thank you Jon! Quote:
