1) I wanted the black M92 and it is not available at your store yet.

2) I couldn't find online any information about your store: rating, customer reviews, etc. It is pretty expensive item and it is reasonable to expect your potential customers to be cautious. I think you also don't have the Paypal option as an available payment method. Maybe you should also set up your online business through Amazon and ebay to gain quickly positive reviews. And your potential customers would feel safer buying from you there. Or maybe the customers who already bought from you can share their shopping experience at this forum. If they already did (maybe I just coudn't find these posts) then it would be helpful if you would provide the link to these posts. I know that Amazon, ebay, Paypal are all additional expenses. So you might have to raise your price a little to cover them.

3) After visiting your website I had an impression that you are associated some way with Ectaco since you are selling their products. And you are located pretty close to them, too. This is just my personal impression after looking at your store's web site. And I personally just recently had very bad shopping experience with Ectaco. So I didn't want to take any risk and go through all this hassle again.

I sincerely wish you good luck with your business. That's why I took my time to share with you some of these ideas. I hope they are helpful. I really want your business (and similar businesses in US) to grow and to be successful. Your business is very important for a lot of people.

Sincerely,

Your potential customer
Right on the spot. ppl don't seem to understand the frustration involved
in having issues with an online order and not hearing back. I think Booxtor's
enthu in solving queries at least wrt M92 is unparalleled.

Thank you for such a comprehensive reply!

Actually, folks here on MR know my store and a lots of ppl from AUS and NZ ordered readers from me, both PocketBooks and Onyxes.

I had a presence on Amazon and eBay, but quit both as it became not interesting economically - the margins on those babes are very slim and eBay and particularly Amazon are almost zeroing them out with their fees. Though, for the image and integrity purposes - you are absolutely right, it works.

I'm not related with Ectaco whatsoever)))). We're are merely good neighbors). I used to be related with PocketBook, and, actually, I was the one who opened PocketBook sub-forum here on MR))), but now I'm just a 'free agent', using this sports terminology.

Enjoy your e-reading with your new Onyx and if you have any questions - don't hesitate to write to me!

Got my black m92 yesterday. Slightly over 4 weeks delivery time. Just another data point for potential Oceanic purchasers. Thanks for getting the black version in Booxtor!

I have a different firmware, 1.6

I don't have that issue. Waited up to 45secs or there abouts, but was still able to swipe to the next (or previous page) with the stylus using the lower half of the screen. I don't have the user manual installed like you do, but used another pdf.

I got the black M92 from Booxtor about 3 weeks ago. I have the same firmware version as you are - 1.7.20120326 and exactly the same power settings. I just repeted all the manipulations from your video. No, I don't have the problem what you have on the video. After waiting for 30 sec, the stylus on the lower part of the screen gets normal response: menu on the button of the screen, page turning - no problem at all. The only difference - I used the original white stylus that comes with M92. Do you have the same problem with white stylus, too?

I don't have the white stylus. With the black model M92, I got the black
stylus. Still the one you see me using in the video is another bigger stylus that I bought from ereader-store.de.
But yes I tried with the stylus shipped with the M92 model, as well as the
bigger stylus. The problem was still there.

The issue is now resolved after updating to a recent firmware. I've updated
with the results in another thread.
Hope I don't run into any other issues. I'm testing it fervently, as I have
only 14 days to figure out all the problems. Booxtor hasn't replied to
my earlier queries. I'm sure he must be out of town or something,
otherwise I'm sure he would have replied.
All good so far.

Thanks

Hi,
I apologize for the delay in answering your message. I actually tried to reproduce your problem on our test devices, to understand how to solve it. As I understand the problem was solved with our last update.

Once again I apologize for the silence on air
