I found a few more links to mobile editions of Wired.com:

Perhaps if one goes down, the other will still be available. So it's better to bookmark them all.

I confirm too that's it's working via AvantGo :

Are we stuck with AG ?

Figuring out the link used in AvantGo wasn't so hard:

http://pshost.avantgo.net/channels/wired/

The problem: like so many other content providers, Wired has relocated its page into one that is accessible with the AvantGo client (based on IP).

It remains to be seen if Wired offers an alternative location for non-Avantgo browsers.

No I didn't

Shame on me.
I've been waiting for 2 months to get WiredNews work again...

But the thing that "fooled" me, is because the last time I checked, Sunrise was only for Windows.
So I didn't read that thread.
But the link you mention seems to work with every offline reader, like iSilo for instance.
I'm gonna give it a try.
