Converting multiple HTML files into one EPUB file

The author and publisher of a book I really want to read was kind enough to offer it for free download both as a PDF and as a zip file containing 42 html files. Is there a simple way to combine all of these html files into a single file?

Download Sigil and add the files. It would result in one epub.

Thanks Toxaris! It worked great. And even more amazingly, the html to epub transfer seems to be perfect. Previous attempts to convert the pdf into epub were an unreadable disaster.

PDF is generally unsuitable for conversion to any other format except print.

Search these forums for ways to do it, but it isn't easy.
