I broke downin ordered the DX
I have Kindle 2 and got the DX for PDF support alone. I have a lot of PDF.

Anyone else in this position?

spending $500 does hurt since I just got the kindle 2!

Despite being a new K2 owner, I ordered a DX as well. Bigger screen and PDF support were two of the main things I wanted that the K2 didn't have.

That being said, I like my K2 so much now that I don't know how much I'll use the DX. It's probably too big to carry around with me all the time.

I work in a place that has access to tens of thousands of journals - 90%+ in PDF. So I ordered a DX also. As you're a Doc I can see your need for a true PDF reader easily (we have medical and research journals galore at my place of employ). Just makes sense (and subtracts dollar$!).

I am going to put one of my other Kindles on ebay to help with the cost.

Yeah. If they ever get the psych journals on pdf and/or Textbook of Psychiatry, then I might get a DX, as well. But not until then...
