She doesn't want to support this douchebaggery. Completely justified. This years hugo are ruined anyway. Who ever wins wont know if he won because his work was truly the best that year, or because people voted against sad and rabid puppies. However you spin it, it's no good. |

I rather think his first move would be to smash the caricatured idol that's been made of him. Point to I Will Fear No Evil and Stranger in a Strange Land, and ask how his "fans" can possibly ignore that they're big-time Message Fiction.
Then, once he was done with that, he'd probably ask how the hell he got resurrected, and whether he should seek out the closest river. |
