is there an app for TXT files

I was really hoping for a place for notes? and recipes and patterns

someplace where I could put files in from my computer. I don't want to pay for PDF conversion.

and now I have found there are websites out there that convert files to both PDF and ePub. I just did a search "convert to PDF" then a search "convert to ePub"

I'll probably do more converting to epub since I think the files are smaller.

Now that I have figured this out I think I'll keep my VOX.

PDF to ePUB conversion is dicey with anything but straight text that is simply laid out. Let us know if you have found something that works well!

I'm actually either converting to PDF or to ePub, so I haven't tried PDF to ePub (since I've, with the help of this group, been able to read PDF on VOX)

I'm mostly trying to get my knitting patterns on it.

I also want to type notes for some bookclubs I'm in.
