Hi
I'm Margaret and I'm from Wales, UK. Having first seen e-readers about 3 years ago, and thinking "wow -cool gadget" couldn't justify the expense, particularly when I love spending times in bookshops and buying books.

But having decided that I own far too many books (I know, you can never have too many books, but if you are going to have to move to a smaller house you can) I have eventually splashed out and ordered a Sony touch PRS 600. It's not in my grubby little hands yet, but I can't wait to get it. I've boxed up 35 books that I've read and am unlikely to read again, and am hoping to sell them at a car boot sale so I can put the money towards e-books.

Anyway
it's a pleasure to make your acquaintence and I'm sure I'll see you around and about the place.

Hi - thanks to all for your welcome, and yes you may call me Mags.

A car boot sale is a similar kind of thing except you put your saleable items in the car, drive to a field, where numerous other people have done the same thing, pay a small entry fee (which usually goes to charity) and then the public have a variety of stuff to choose from.

I don't mind what you call me, just talk to me, please talk to me. But if I'm reading I might ignore you, just don't take it personally - I kinda get absorbed into my own little world (well the author's to be exact but I'm sure you know what I mean)

And I've ordered a pinky/purpley (girly) cover for my gadget, so I can be a girly gadget geek.
