I doubt that you'll get a further response from Kovid until you actually read the text at the link he gave, and follow it. Particular, unless you provide item one in the list:

"The file you are trying to convert. If the file is copyrighted then create an extract/sample that shows the problem, or use the calibre bug report system to create a private bug with the file attached."

There are bugs in the RTF output. You are best to convert to HTMLZ and load that into a word processor and if you really need RTF, save that to RTF.

FWIW- when I want to edit an ePub's text in Word, I always convert to RTF.

The RTF will always need some 'format fixes' but the required edits will be consistent from one RTF to the next. A conversion to DOCX or HTML will also need some 'format fixes' - but their degree/nature will vary from one DOCX/HTML to the next. For me, consistency will always trump might be better.

Thanks to all who gave reply.

The problem was resolved by untouched epub file. I've converted the original epub file to rtf file without any modification. Thanks for your support.

What is the maximum limit of the size of input/output while conversion from 1 to another?

Why would you want to edit an ePub in Word? That just seems a bit silly (IMHO). Would it not be better to edit the ePub? I've edited plenty of ePub in Calibre's editor or Sigil and before that, doing it using Notepad++.
